Terms of Use
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Employee First Legal website (the "Website"). By visiting, browsing, or contacting us through the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website. These Terms apply to use of the Website only and do not create or define the terms of any attorney-client engagement.
Website use only
These Terms govern your use of the Website. They are not an offer or agreement to provide legal services, and they do not create or govern any attorney-client engagement. Any legal representation by Employee First Legal is governed solely by a separate written engagement agreement signed by both you and the firm.
No legal advice
The information on the Website is provided for general informational purposes only and is not legal advice. Legal information is not the same as legal advice, and the Website is not a substitute for the advice of a licensed attorney familiar with the facts and circumstances of your specific situation. See our full Legal Disclaimer for additional terms.
No attorney-client relationship
Visiting the Website, submitting the case-evaluation form, sending an email, or making an initial telephone call does not create an attorney-client relationship with Employee First Legal or any of its attorneys. An attorney-client relationship is formed only by a written engagement agreement signed by both you and the firm.
Case-evaluation form and communications
The case-evaluation form on the Website lets you share a small amount of contact information so the firm can determine whether it may be able to assist you. Submitting the form does not obligate Employee First Legal to represent you and does not obligate you to retain the firm. Personal information submitted through the form is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
No confidential or time-sensitive information
Until a written engagement agreement is in place, please do not send confidential, sensitive, or time-sensitive information through the Website. Information you submit before an engagement is formed may not be protected by the attorney-client privilege and may not receive a timely response. If your matter is urgent or involves a deadline, please call us at 1-888-509-1980 and consult a licensed attorney without delay.
Attorney advertising; no guarantee of outcome
The Website is attorney advertising under the California Rules of Professional Conduct. Any references to case results, settlements, verdicts, or recoveries reflect past matters. Prior results do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome in any future matter. Every case is different and depends on its own facts and applicable law.
Permitted use of the Website
You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
- Use the Website in any way that violates applicable law or regulation;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, its server, or any related systems;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Website or its infrastructure;
- Use any automated means to scrape, harvest, or collect information from the Website, including for unsolicited communications;
- Submit false, misleading, or deceptive information through any form on the Website;
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
- Use the Website to harass, threaten, or harm any person.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise indicated, all content on the Website — including text, graphics, logos, images, layout, and the selection and arrangement of materials — is the property of Employee First Legal or its licensors and is protected by United States and international intellectual-property laws. You may view and print pages from the Website for your own personal, non-commercial reference. Any other use, including copying, redistribution, republication, modification, or commercial use, requires the firm's prior written permission.
Third-party links
The Website may include links to third-party websites or resources for convenience. Employee First Legal does not control those websites and is not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or accuracy. Inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement. You access third-party websites at your own risk.
Privacy
Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference and describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information submitted through the Website.
Accessibility
Employee First Legal is committed to making the Website usable by people of all abilities. If you encounter any difficulty accessing the Website, please see our Accessibility Statement for our standards and how to contact us with feedback.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
Governing law
The Website is operated from the State of California. These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to your use of the Website are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California. The Website is not directed to, and may not be appropriate for, visitors located in other jurisdictions.
